Migrating complex environments to Azure enables secure data recovery, reorganization of architecture, and significant gains in speed, stability, and protection—driving high-demand digital operations.

Multichannel integrator for marketplaces and other sales points, Ideris is a company with solutions for e-commerce operations, management, control, and various functionalities necessary in the digital world.
Operating in 60 million listings on marketplaces to facilitate the seller's journey, the company is the first Brazilian to receive the Platinum certificate from Mercado Livre and is also a diamond partner of Magalu.
With so many important clients, it is essential that the solution has the capacity to handle a large number of requests – especially during festive seasons that drive retail – without crashing the system due to lack of technological quality.
Thinking about organizing its data and increasing its performance, Ideris chose to invest in Microsoft as its solution and began to achieve important results within its business.
The decisive moment for Ideris's technological evolution
Ideris was at a point of structuring its architecture, and for that, organizing everything that was scattered across various tools was essential. As a participant in a Microsoft Startup project, after the entire program process with tests, decisions, and understanding of tools, Ideris liked what it saw and considering its expenses, security, organization, and performance, decided to move from AWS to use Azure.
Even before Teltec became Ideris's partner, there was strong pre-sales activity with technical questions, cost estimates, environment demonstrations, and actions that tightened the relationship for the decision-making process.
The surprise, however, came at 11:30 PM on a Sunday – when Ideris was not yet a client of Teltec – through calls to the sales team with a request for help. At that moment, the company was migrating its database, and one of them disappeared, and nothing could make it come back.
“Our company is 100% Microsoft in tool language, and it was necessary that the data was no longer scattered in various places. That’s why we started to build the entire structure within Azure on our own. Initially, we called a company to help with a data migration, after all, there were 14 TB existing, and the problem was that the first migration went wrong. We tried using the Data Migration Service, it didn’t work, and we used DMS within AWS itself to send to Azure. With that, we started migrating, and everything was fine until we noticed that it migrated with a failure, and then we had a huge problem,” comments Weslley Mantovani, Ideris's infrastructure coordinator.
It was then that Teltec's support team sprang into action, and with all their involvement, competence, and experience, it was possible to recover the crucial database. From this success, Ideris moved forward in partnership with Teltec, and other subscriptions were migrated so that the integrator became 100% Azure.
For the process, there was a need to transfer the tenant to place it within a corporate environment. Thus, the first step was this migration, where all resources were transferred, some adjustments were made, and actions were taken to improve the environment.
With so much data and information flowing during the migrations, there was a fear of losing RDS bases to Azure, and there was a question about which tool would be the most robust for migration. To make the decision, several tests were conducted, and Microsoft itself recommended Myloader for the success of this project.
“We had the problem of migrating from AWS to Azure in a secure way. With this question, Teltec included Microsoft in the line with us, and they offered Mydumper and Myloader, and we went down that path, which worked super well. We did not have a single affected customer during this migration and managed to finalize it to proceed with other improvement stages,” says Weslley.
In addition to him, resources and services such as web servers, load balancers, workspaces, app gateways, virtual machine sets for use in AKS, Kubernetes service, and many others were used for this project.
“After completing the 100% migration to Azure, we reached a point where our work flowed well. In this migration and architecture structuring, we migrated DNS from India to Azure, eliminated all external tools, and placed everything in one single location, everything works much better and faster. After migrating, we stopped having message queuing problems, increased performance, and this change was tremendous. The machines and servers work much better, and we have a stable infrastructure with fewer problems. Moreover, after the migration, several people from different teams here said: ‘the Ideris tool has never been so fast’. From 12-20 seconds, we went down to 3 seconds, and we had a very significant gain by being within Microsoft.,” points out the coordinator of Ideris.
Another crucial point for this implementation was security. If there were no significant precautions before, today there are several layers that ensure the data is protected and keep Ideris as far away as possible from attacks and losses.
Teltec also offers managed services for Ideris, and since it is a client with a well-matured and technically advanced team, there is monitoring and information transfer so that they can operate independently in various areas.
Avoiding many service standards found in the market, Ideris is quickly attended to here, and even if the client's problems are not resolved immediately, the service is executed, and the needs are queued so that the solution occurs as soon as possible.
“When our partnership in the startup program was ending, we were introduced to Teltec. We were already talking to some partners to see how we would proceed, but since we met Teltec, there was a different type of handling. Even without a contract, Teltec already helped us solve a problem, and that made all the difference. From the moment I called the contacts, everything was resolved and functioning in 40 minutes, so we had the partnership even before having something concrete,” points out Mantovani.
