In recent years, the cloud has become a great ally for companies looking to grow with more agility, innovation, and cost reduction. Nevertheless, many organizations continue to have concerns, particularly regarding security, which remains one of the main points of resistance when it comes to migrating to cloud environments.

This resistance shows that, more than technology, trust and clarity are needed to take this step. Therefore, in this content, we will explore the main objections we hear from clients about cloud security and, more importantly, show how Teltec Data addresses each of them with practical and strategic solutions.

Check it out!

1- “I don’t want to put data outside the company and risk losing control”

The biggest objection is related to the perception of risk regarding the exposure of sensitive data, especially in more regulated sectors such as finance, healthcare, and legal. The most common doubts involve control, visibility, and compliance, reinforcing the need for a secure and transparent approach to cloud adoption.

Therefore, at Teltec Data, we address this objection with a consultative approach, demonstrating how Microsoft’s cloud solutions provide advanced encryption, identity management, granular access policies, and compliance with regulations such as LGPD and ISO.

Additionally, we have our own SOC and NOC, which reinforce trust by ensuring continuous monitoring and rapid incident response, offering more control and security for cloud environments.

2- “If the cloud goes down, I’ll lose access”

Unavailability is one of the most common concerns when we talk about the cloud, as many companies believe that in the event of a failure or instability, they could lose access to their data and systems, compromising critical operations.

We address this objection with a straightforward solution: backup and disaster recovery. We work with plans that ensure data is always protected and can be quickly restored in the event of a failure, attack, or interruption. This way, even in unforeseen circumstances, the company maintains operational continuity with security and agility.

3- “Hackers can invade more easily”

The idea that the cloud is more vulnerable to cyber attacks is a common fear. To address this, we adopt layers of protection, such as firewalls, MFA, Zero Trust, Identity Protection, and SIEM, which ensure access control and constant monitoring.

Furthermore, we use AI and automation to detect and respond to threats in real-time, increasing agility and accuracy in protection.

We also follow the shared responsibility model, where the provider and the client work together on data and environment security — an approach that turns protection into a strategic partnership.

4- “Migrating is complex and insecure”

The fear of losing data or facing failures during the transition is constant, especially when operations depend on critical systems.

We resolve this objection at Teltec Data through structured migration plans in phases, which include testing, backups, and end-to-end encryption at each stage, ensuring data security from start to finish.

Moreover, we have the support of specialized partners and a dedicated technical team that monitors each project in a personalized manner.

An example of this is the case of BBChain, one of the largest Blockchain specialists in Latin America. The company faced challenges with infrastructure, cost, and time, which impacted the go-to-market of its clients. To accelerate deliveries, it created a new product, but the cloud where it was hosted no longer met the demand.

At that moment, BBChain found Teltec Data, through a partnership with Microsoft, to support everything from solution design to migration and architectural review, ensuring scalability. As a result, BBChain was able to implement the migration and had the opportunity to list its product on the Microsoft Marketplace.

Cloud security doesn’t have to be a problem, on the contrary, with the right strategy and solutions, it is possible to achieve more protection, control, and efficiency.

Each objection raised by clients represents an opportunity to show that there are practical, secure, and adaptable alternatives to the specific needs of each company.

Understand which solutions make sense for your environment and how to apply them securely. Talk to Teltec Data specialists and transform the cloud into a true ally for your business!
